A refurbished former industrial buildingThis existing building providing industrial space, office and ancillary areas was fully refurbished to meet the current operator clients brief. This building now provides approximately 645sq.m (6950sq.ft) of industrial space and 230sq.m (2500sq.ft) of office / ancillary space on two floors together with car parking. Procurement of the construction utilised a design and build contract.

A reconstruction of a fire damaged historic buildingThis long established listed historic hotel building in a traditional rural resort was significantly structurally fire damaged affording a challenging opportunity for reconstruction to meet current client expectations and standards of construction in all respects including accommodation, facilities, comfort and servicing whilst retaining and restoring period features. A popular boutique hotel now provides 14 en suite bedrooms including a bridal suite together with a residents lounge area on the upper floors with two restaurants and a spacious lounge bar and outdoor terraces to the ground floor.

Extensions and alterations to a residential care homeThis existing residential care home for the elderly, operating within an ancient traditional building, has been extended to provide 16 new en suite private rooms, an appropriate increase in ancillary facilities and extensive new dayrooms in two new two storey wings and a single storey extension. Extensive alterations and refurbishments to the existing building and external areas were also included. Construction was procured utilising a traditional form of contract administered by ourselves.

A hotel development in a barn conversionThis existing barn on the outskirts of Sheffield, adjacent to the Peak District National Park boundary, has been converted into a small hotel offering nine en suite bedrooms of varying sizes, including some family rooms. The unique feature of the design, construction and management of this establishment is that all areas provide an environment free of allergy causing agents. It provides popular accommodation for weekday working visitors and weekend leisure visitors. Construction was arranged by the client directly, supported by ourselves on a consultancy basis.

A bespoke office and workshop buildingThis new building was purpose designed to provide offices, training & system configuration facilities for the end user, an established provider of IT solutions. This building provides approximately 600sq.m (6500sq.ft) of space on two floors together with car parking and landscaped areas. Procurement of the construction utilised a design and build contract.

A bespoke retail and residential buildingThis small existing building and adjacent cleared vacant site in a high profile location which is part of an established district shopping / commercial centre was redeveloped to provide three retail accommodation units on the ground floor of 21sq.m (227sq.ft); 37sq.m (395sq.ft) and 56sq.m (600sq.ft) respectively. The three upper floors provide 8 student apartments having 13 study bedrooms with shared living / areas and ancillary accommodation. The design presents the scheme featuring four separate building envelopes to provide a relatively large development empathetic to the scale of the surrounding buildings. We were employed by the developer and worked closely with the contractor to resolve issues at interfaces with existing adjacent buildings.
