RESTORATION ARCHITECT SHEFFIELD
Restoration and modernisation of a ChapelThis disused fire damaged Methodist Chapel was restored complying to a brief to preserve its original simplicity and to provide contemporary standards of comfort ranging from toilet facilities and including access for the disabled including ‘induction loop’ technology to assist those with hearing impediments. The unique tiered seating arrangement and inherent acoustic performance has also provided a popular venue for the performance of choral, brass and other traditional / accoustic music. We are proud to have been associated with a vibrant client community to present a building which appears to be unaltered from its original form. Construction was procured by means of a traditional building contract with the excellent support of building contractors, T & C Williams, of Sheffield.
